When leasing a domain from name-online.com you retain the right to use the domain name for the lease period in return for a monthly payment, requiring less upfront investment, however you do not maintain ownership of the domain. When leasing you will always have the opportunity to purchase the domain during your lease period for a prearranged purchase option price.

The process:
(1) Select the domain(s) you'd like to purchase and contact our offices here.
(2) An assigned account manager will contact you within 24 hours to confirm monthly lease rate and payment terms.
(3) The client places first and last months lease payment into a secure escrow.com account, free of charge.
(4) Name-Online will pay all escrow.com fees and setup a free hosting account included with your lease agreement or will point the domain DNS to your servers within 72 hours.

Leasing allows you to acquire the rights to use a particular domain name URL at a reduced monthly cost for a period of time. However, leasing a domain does not provide you with ownership of the domain name.

How long must I lease?
- Domain leasing agreements are available from 3 months to 2 years.

What do I pay?
- Your initial payment is the first and last month lease rate. Each additional payment is due on the first of each month until the lease expires.

Can I terminate the lease agreement?
- Definitely, you can cancel at any time, however the last month payment paid initially will not be refunded.

Can I purchase the domain during my lease? - Definitely! In your lease agreement there will be a "purchase option" whereby you will be able to purchase the domain at any time during your lease or at the end of the term for a set pre-agreed amount.
